I hear dentists, dental students, orthodontic residents and orthodontists talk constantly about how much they owe in student loans and honestly I’m sick of it.
No one forced you to go to dental school or residency. You chose to.
I don’t care about your excuses or rationalizations – and you shouldn’t either because they are crippling you and don’t change anything. You still have the debt because you chose to take all those loans to go to the school you chose to attend. You still have to pay off that debt. Best get to it…
I know, I know, I don’t understand and it’s different and it’s hard where you live and the economy and PCDs and competition and DSOs and all that… So?
You chose to live where you are and change is the only constant. Ask coal miners or the people who manufacture machinery for coal mining how they like natural gas and solar power! Get over it, adapt and get to work because the world is not going to change to accommodate you.
Still not convinced?
Sure that you’re correct? Ok, so how does your claim to victimhood help you? It doesn’t! You are better off to pretend to believe that you are responsible for your choices, pretend that your choices got you where you are and to pretend that you can make choices to get you where you want to be if you want a shot at a happy, successful career and life. Fake it till you make it, doctor!
