Patients and parents have busy lives and stuff to do. Respect that. Know that what we do for them is awesome but it’s also inconvenient. You can make it less so by creating a great schedule, running on time, minimizing appointment length, visiting the chair once, maximizing appointment intervals, controlling how you schedule (no after school rush), being efficient with your treatment, communicating effectively, getting faster and being decisive. This sounds simple but it’s the crux of having happy patients and a happy team. Get your head right, doctor. It’s not about you, it’s about the patient! The more you can do this the more your practice will grow and prosper.
